The Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, Virginia is ¾ of a mile long.
The race is named after Vietnam Vet Russell Friedman who won a contest earlier this year and was selected to have the race bear his name. The contest is in its third year. The race is sponsored by Crown Royal, they have been sponsoring this race event since 2006.
